We’re kicking off winter at Loon Mountain Resort and we couldn’t be more stoked! This December, we holding our second annual ride day in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, benefiting one of our favorite non-profits, Boarding for Breast Cancer! Loon is a place that is very near and dear to us at BTBounds and this one-day event is going to be wicked awesome!
Registration for the ride day is $25 dollars with a portion of the proceeds going to our friends at Boarding for Breast Cancer. In addition, you must supply your own lift ticket or pass (the Ikon pass works with an advance reservation). We will supply the BTBounds coaches who will lead the ride day, an awesome raffle that benefits B4BC, après, prizes, hot laps, trick learning, new friends, and tons of fun!
This ride day is a little different from the full-weekend camps, here’s what to expect:
- Snowboarding with the BTBounds coaches and crew!
- Comfortable and casual riding environment for learning new things, meeting like-minded ladies, and shredding Loon Mountain Resort
- This Ride Day is not park-specific. If you would like to ride park, there will be opportunity to do that and if you would prefer not to ride in the park, that’s fine, too! We will have groups doing both. We’ll be riding the whole mountain.
- If you are interested in riding in the park, NO park experience is necessary to attend. the Ride Day is ideal for freestyle beginners as well as expert park rats.
- We will utilize existing park and do plenty of trail tricks. The riding won’t be as structured as weekend-long camps, but there will be a focus on trying new things and coaches are there to provide tips and advice for new tricks, whether in the park or on the trails.
- Plenty of laps as we take over the trails with a group of ripping women! (We ask that you are confident linking turns on blue trails in order to attend—hit us up with any questions at info@btbounds.com.)
